District 9670
is located midway along the east coast of NSW, Australia. The district
runs in a strip averaging 150 kilometres wide east-west across the
state almost to the Queensland and South Australian borders.
Morisset is a commercial centre and suburb of the City of Lake Macquarie in New South Wales, and is located west of Lake Macquarie just off the F3 Freewway. The town is named for Major James Thomas Morisset, who camped there in 1823 while making the first overland journey from Sydney to Newcastle. Read More about Morisset.
Rotary
is a worldwide organization of more than 1.2 million business,
professional, and community leaders. Members of Rotary clubs, known as
Rotarians, provide humanitarian service, encourage high ethical
standards in all vocations, and help build goodwill and peace in the
world. There are over 32,000 Rotary clubs in more than 200 countries
and geographical areas. Clubs are nonpolitical, nonreligious, and open
to all cultures, races, and creeds. As signified by the motto Service
Above Self, Rotary’s main objective is service — in
the
community, in the workplace, and throughout the world.
"Whether Rotary will thrive, or whether it will
falter; whether our service will mean much to many, or little to few;
whether Rotary is known with respect, or seen as a relic of days gone
by: all this is up to you. The Future of Rotary Is in Your Hands."
